northern lodge hotel: sg petani

continued from the previous2 entry, so ni nak citer bout northern lodge hotel..

northern lodge is the 1st hotel that i stay during my visit in sungai petani.. if u wanna reach this hotel, u got to use the sungai petani selatan toll exit from the plus hiway.. actually, from the toll, u can see the park avenue hotel.. depan sket, u can see the sign boards to this northern lodge hotel.. before reaching this hotel, u will meet the emerald puteri sg petani first, as this northern lodge is ke dalam sket dari main road tu..

northern lodge is the park avenue's sister hotel.. anak kepada park avenue yang mahal tu.. northern lodge aim for the budget-er visitors or the backpackers.. worth for a family stay yang in quite tight budget to visit sungai petani..

if you're using the bas ekspress, which will head up to alor star, the bus will definitely drop you near the central square there (if i'm not mistaken-lah).. they won't leave you at the real bus station..so macam pity sket sebab to go anywhere, u have to have either friends take you to the destination, or naik taxi@kete sapu.. if u lucky enuf, u will get nice-hearted pakcik taxi yang tak mengganggu ur mood for your vacation la..

the fare from the point the bus dropped me to the northern lodge is rm 8 (single-way)..

the main door of this hotel is berhadapan dengan parkson grand.. i am too lazy to walk, so i didn't even step out of the hotel room..ahaha..

there are 4 types of room available for stay and the rates:

1. 2 single beds no window (rm 60)

2. 2 single beds with window (rm 65)

3. 3 single beds no window (rm 65)

4. 3 single beds with window (rm 70)

the deposit will be another amount of the room rate..

i have chosen the type 2 room and here i stay..

2 katil single..

ada tv (astro-equipped, tapi the reception is not clear..better tak tengok tv la..), ada wi-fi (where i took my next-day time to facebook-ing), ada heater-shower jugak.. the toilet room besar (lebih kurang 1/3 of the room la, bersih n selesa, walaupun the water pipe is not so best, ikut mood dia kot kalau nak best..macam nak tembak2 orang la..huhu..) the air-cond bising sket n off sendiri kot bila cam sejuk sket..so bunyik air-cond on n off everytime sangat tak best sebab tak quite..

for this hotel, i stayed in the 1st floor, room number a119.. after checked-in, tetibe plak ade 3 staffs dok luar my room to fix the wi-fi system, so uncomfortable..

for the security, ada guard jaga down-stairs n round2 kat luar bilik like once-an-hour kot.. so, tak berapa risau sangat la..

the reception? diorang okey2 jer.. kadang2 tak amik pot sangat sape yang lalu lalang kot.. sumtime slow sket (reaction), but somehow, still ok la for a lone-ranger traveller like me..

the next day, the reception asked whether i want to extend my stay there or not..but i decided to check out to experience another hotel.. during checked-out, i got back my deposit of rm 65..

pengakhiran perjalanan pertemuan 2 hati di 2 negeri...

on saturday petang (24 oct 2009) after the wedding, my abg sent me to stay in hotel layang-layang in perai.. after several time together, my abg has to go back to his mum's house to celebrate his birthday together with everybody else in the family..

dat nite, after menggodek-godek tenet manjang sepetang tu.. n mengabeskan opportunity untuk free calls maxis-to-maxis {my maxis' simcard registered under my abg's name, which make me having the free calls during his birthday}.. calling2 cikpah lebih kurang half an hour before decide nak pi beli tiket balik shah alam for the next day..

abg cakap nak redah jer..tapi takmo la.. nanti rushing plak nak balik.. dah la sok keje pulak..huhu..

i got the hotel to call up taxi for me to bring to the penang sentral (kalau tak silap namanye), where the bus station@terminal is located..locals call it dekat jetty jer..

i sampai dat area maybe around 8.30 pm kot.. mahal jugak la perjalanannyer.. lebih kurang rm 14.. but luckily, the driver is nice..so i takde bad experience dah selepas my 1st incident kat sg petani aritu..

after comparing some, i decided to choose transnasional of butterworth-shah alam journey on 25 oct 2009: 1.00 pm.. with ticket price of rm 33.40..

tempat makan kat area bus station macam tak best jer.. so i took another trip back to the hotel with a another nice taxi driver n sempat plak menyinggah ke kfc not far from the travel lodge hotel..tak plak tanye what's the area name..huhuh.. the journey pun lebih kurang pegi tadi..tapi i bagi lebih sket la sebab the driver took n wait for me to buy the kfc..

near midnite pun ada calling2 jugak sebab nak amik free call ni kan..hehe..

so, the next day.. my abg took me after check-out around 11.30 am.. we're having our some nice quite lil' lunch in pizza hut near the hotel area..in conjunction celebrating the birthday boi la (tapi bukan boi dah la..dah besar pun..hahaha).. for the set, our menu is a combo set for 2 consist of 1 hawaiian chicken pizza, 2 bread sticks, 2 mushroom soup, 2 pepsi.. as an add-on, i choose the new honey bbq wings (4 pieces) n 1 regular hut's platter.. tapi tak abes coz kejar time..so tapau la..

sampai kat terminal tu just nice..around 12.45 pm.. my abg tak dapat nak tunggu coz no parking n ada banyak jer police around.. so we have to say gudbye earlier..

reached there n got the bus number.. immediately, simpan barang in the compartment n got on the bus.. sharp 1.00 pm, the bus pun gerak sudaa..

sadly to say, sadly to admit.. but dis is kinda the 1st time i cried disebabkan perpisahan.. rasa sedih sangat n akhirnya kalah dengan perasaan sendiri.. lebih kurang an hour jugak la tu berderai tears ni..huhu..

along the journey sampai ke r & r sungai perak, i tertido kepenatan.. kuar sekejap but the bus locked plak setengah jam.. captured an image of myself..n muka cam not nice, baru teringat sebab dah tumpas ngan air mata sendiri..

my abg said.. gamba our hands taken together symbolizes tanda perpisahan dua hati, untuk sementara.. he asked me to upload in the facebook that shows i came here to see someone special..

"syg makin jauh tinggalkan abg.. jangan lupa, gamba tangan kita tu adalah end cerita perjalanan pertemuan 2 hati di 2 negeri (kedah n penang)"

my abg's birthday present

24 oct 2009.. dis is the 1st time of me celebrating my abg's birthday.. he is a sumbody really special for me.. n for dis one time only, i feel of giving a customized present for him.. never a sumbody that i made presents so customized as his..

took some days for a sumbody not-so-creative like me to figure out.. the present is not expensive.. but he really likes the ideas..

dis is sum kind of budak2, childish idea yg i want him to have.. sumting that never presented by anyone in his life..

tq dear.. for really appreciating me n appreciating my efforts in giving u dis present.. tq for everything u've made for me during my holiday n being with u all dis long.. i luv u so much sayang.. muaaahhh..

wedding syam n sara in kubang pasu

i've got dis invitation thru facebook.. actually, i baru jer buat facebook, then terus dapat invitation untuk pi wedding ni.. kat kedah, okey.. i replied: yes, will attend.. (for the rvsp, betui ea?? haha..)

earlier, got 1 message from syam untuk bagi address to send the invitation card personally to me..

so, i took my vacation to the north 2 weeks lebih lambat dari yang sepatutnya.. just to attend dis wedding..

on 24 oct 2009, i took off from sungai petani utara exit, up to hutan kampung toll, then up sket lagi ke tol jitra.. then, masuk exit 181 and terus jumpa signboard to kompleks pentadbiran kubang pasu, where the venue of reception is the dewan utama -lah..

went there with my abg.. tq so much dear for spending some of ur precious time for me with me today..

masuk2 kat pintu jer the groom dah senyum sampai ke telinga when he saw me.. dari air mukanya, he is so glad n sangat grateful when i finally reached there.. quickly wish (the bride jauh sket la dari dia dat time)..n bagi hadiah..which specially brought all the way from selangor..

my abg n me gerak makan dulu..

my abg go smoke outside pas dia abes n leave me to stay a bit longer inside..

i managed to be around during potong kek session.. amek gamba live lah of the couple there coz tak sempat amek gamba bersanding tadi..huhu..

lastly, congratulates them before traveling back to check-in in another hotel plak for this nite's stay..

untuk syam n sara.. tahniah atas wedding ni.. semoga korang akan bersama sehingga ke akhir hayat.. syam: jaga sara lek-lok.. take care both of u..

i stay in prai.. in hotel layang-layang for another 1 nite before going back to shah alam again, tomorrow.. (lom beli tiket lagi..berani mati lah..hoho..)

week-off to the north

well-well, after considering and reconsider again and again.. finally, the decision has been made for my vacation to be in the north side of malaysia..

pagi tu siap2 everything, then bergerak to stesyen bas sek 17, shah alam to take the bus.. actually i anta diri sendiri la ke sane, then my dad drive balik kete tu.. kete tu tak leh balik sendiri nanti kalau i yang drive..hehe..

on the ticket, written shah alam-sungai petani: 22 oct 2009 (9.45 am).. sampai takde la lambat, tapi bas dah sampai n orang kat kaunter tak inform plak walaupun dah terpacak di depan kaunter..

while waiting, i suddenly berkenalan dengan dis 1 guy.. i dunno where n what the hell orang tu buat kat situ.. i guess just like to seek new job opportunities..so i gave him my name card.. in the bus, suddenly he told me about another thing..n it's like so shocking n terkejut sangat..until i now i cannot accept what he said to me.. n after that some time talking masa bas rosak sekejap kat desapark, he said wanna check me everything, then he never come back.. so i assume that he just want to mess up my life.. furthermore, who is him for a more-than-a-friend thing, when he is a nobody to me..i really don't understand.. but this one particular fella has ruined my mood during all the way from shah alam to sungai petani.. sangat dissapointing..hmm..

hoccay la~ stop talking about the unknown disturbing guy.. he is sum-what 50 plus n irritates me a lot..

i took my bus.. my seat dekat belah atas.. the bus is 2 tingkat.. so i attach skali beberapa gamba dalam bas..

so this bus is actually dari klang sentral.. then baru ke shah alam (to fetch me..hehe).. then, it use federal.. pakai damansara mane ntah.. then bas rosak sekejap kat desapark.. wait for replacement bus, then headed to hentian duta.. then only masuk plus.. lame sangat.. 2 jam lebey kurang masih berada dalam selangor-kl..huhu..

the first stop is tanjung malim kot.. berenti 5 minit..hoho.. 2nd stop is tak ingat namenyer (dekat ngan jambatan sultan azlan shah).. yang ni berenti lame.. dah la tu kene turun suma..then dia kunci bas skali..huhu.. kat sini, i letak some captures yer..

then, continue journey after eating some buah naga..

continue our journey lagi..n stop sekejap pas toll mane ntah coz ramai sangat mamat2 bergegas ke toilet..hehe..

the bus enter sg petani from the south.. masuk2 jer terus nampak the northern lodge, where i should stay for the 1st nite here.. tapi sebab dia nak drop in town, then the bus go up further to the town n i have to take rm8 taxi back to the northern lodge..huhu..

emmm.. got 1 story (actually bad story) regarding this taxi driver.. i turun bas dengan pening coz my whole journey ruined becoz of dat kinda stupid fella.. i'm searching for taxi..n what i saw only kereta sewa, kinda kereta sapu n macam paksa2 suh i naik.. i macam hot sangat, nak marah2 tak tentu pasal jugak la.. so on the way, he talked to me..but i don't really layan..n perhaps i bercakap kasar n buat muka..so in the end is he so dissapointed with me.. but dia punya pasal la kan.. what the tut nak bersyarah marah2 i plak.. u dah nampak dis 1 fine lad kinda stress, lagi nak cari pasal ke? i'm not asking for anybody help..so tak payah kacau la.. the common sense will tell u.. doesn't need to masuk skola.. really what the tut.. so f**king up.. hate dis experience.. jangan deal ngan dis person dah.. not gud.. huhu..

next, i checked-in to my room.. then when my abg sampai, we ronda outside n have our special dinner..but that story about the venues will be posted in another post-lah~

hangout kat one utama on deepavali

actually, i have another mission to be accomplished like the previous one ritu.. but this time, dekat sket la..kat subang area jer.. lagipun next week pun nak jumpa my abg, so kene buat deed sket la..dapat pahala lebey sket..huhuhu..

dah alang-alang tu, ajak cha kuar on deepavali, 17 oct 09.. supposedly nak jumpa amoi tu before noon, tapi dia cakap after lunch should be okey.. tukar plan skali sebab cha takmo pi sunway pyramid (membosankan dia cakap, sebab dekat sangat ngan umah dia..hoho)

kitorang mem-plan n tukar-tukar plan thru facebook jer.. tetibe terlebey suda main-main facebook di ofis sebab keje dah kurang..ngah free la katakan..hoho..

tetibe jugak maya nak join kitorang dating (eheks..), so okey la.. she's from upm serdang, turun ke komuter shah alam ni sebelum fetch si cha ni dari umah dia kat seri setia.. seb baik cha ni cepat balik..tetibe (lagi?) kene datang ukm nak submit abstrak..hoho..

next, we headed our way to one utama, the old wing.. not really know la jalan ni sebab slalu pun tak berapa nak tengok kalau driving tu n jarang la sangat nak merayap sampai ke damansara ni..huhu.. so dis time, cha jadi co-pilot untuk orang yang tak reti sangat nak merayap kat damansara ni..pakai ldp..huhu..

kitorang parking kat tingkat 3..adoi..curam nyer la nak ke parking ni, abes minyak press-press..hoho.. kitorang park kat nice, shady spot yang okey la yang takde orang pun nyebok-nyebok nak parking sane..

takde planning nak pi wayang, so kitorang buat as other girls do-lah..window~ tapi shopping jugak la sket-sket.. i've done mine, beli handbag polo benedict (after discount 70%, is affordable la..), maya beli knitted blouse kot.. n cha tertinggal plak wallet kat umah..tapi dapat jugak la bershopping.. well, girls~ hoho.. cha beli beberapa helai baju n suar kot..dengan topup sket daripada duit raya dia..hehe..

then, kitorang makan kat sini ngan bajet yang terhad (selepas abes shopping sakan..hoho)

maya n cha ngah membelek menu-menu dengan khusyuk sekali..ahaha..

nak jugak amek gamba ngan cha..hoho..

cha n maya amek lunch express meal for two.. cha amek chicken arabbiata, maya amek cheesy chicken (gambar kat bawah ni)..

i amik large hut's platter n ice lemon tea..

the dessert: double delight..strawberry n chocolate..

lame giler dok kat pizza tu..orang macam bersilih-ganti plak, tapi kitorang lepak lame jer..hehe..

we use short-cut untuk kuar semula ke nan yang siang pau, then masuk balik supaya dapat cross federal hiway tu untuk ke rumah cha semula.. kitorang menyinggah minum air sat sebelum gerak ke arah carrefour subang for me (to complete my mission) n hantar maya ke komuter subang jaya..

i met this amoi yang jual lampu crystal kat starbuck kat carrefour subang jaya tu n get the balance (rm5) of amount paid by my abg.. checking-checking dulu all the stuffs inside, baru la bergerak ke arah shah alam semula.. mission pun dah accomplished dear... by ur hebat nyer gf ni..hoho..

so, untuk cha n maya, fun jugak kuar today.. maya: next time kita leh kuar lagi yekk?? cha: len kali jangan lupa bawak wallet, nanti kita leh shopping lebey-lebey lagi n nanti cha plak yang drive bawak saga tu yer..tak penah rasa lagi naek saga..hihi.. nanti la bile-bile, ada pitis lebey sket, baru sonok nak merayap lagi..hehe.. ^_^

jamuan raye kat kilang

tahun ni, the 2nd year this pembantu am handle the jamuan raye for the kilang..but this year, i dah ada my own assistant yang banyak sangat membantu..

actually, the jamuan raye is the 3rd agenda of the day (15 oct 09)..

well.. the day started with me n kak sikin (my assistant) went to mbb subang perdana to tt (telegraphic transfer) sum amount of our fund to our hq (branch yang send help to hq? ish ish ish..) so kitorang start kuar since 11am la around.. traffic is nice.. orang pun tak ramai sangat kat bank, my turn cepat n kitorang siap awal transfer duit tu..wah~

so, the 2nd agenda: shopping!! this pembantu am dah banyak kali do this shopping sebenarnya.. dis is not for my biggie tummy hoccay?? as we have our nepal + bangladesh + indonesia foreign workers..as well as the locals.. we provide them food if they're having their ot up to 10pm each day.. lagipun most of them single-mingle, so susah jugak nak prepare makanan or cari kedai makan kalau dah balik after 10pm kan.. hmm.. so, there's when this pembantu am do her parts, membeli makanan for them (barang mentah) for 1-week supply-lah..then nanti kak siti (our indonesian factory-maid) will cook for them untuk makan masa rehat 7-7.30pm..

barang-barang yang penuh 1 bonet.. tapi dis both pictures taken during shopping ngan avanza dulu..imagine dengan kancil plak? hehe..

biasanya beli makanan seminggu jer..tapi this time, my boss promised to provide sket for their feast..raye nepal.. raye nepal ni ada 2 event yang besau.. 1 sama timing macam kita nyer hari raya puasa.. another 1 lebey kurang timing ngan deepavali.. in my kilang, most of them are buddhist, 2 orang jer hindu.. they do not eat beef..

so then, kitorang spend our time sekejap (lebey kurang sejam lebey kot) kat econsave kampung baru subang.. membeli bahan mentah untuk seminggu.. membeli bahan mentah untuk raya nepal.. membeli barang2 peralatan untuk jamuan raye.. n ecetra-ecetra..haha..

next, around 3.30pm, i headed to batu 3 to get our main course for the jamuan raye.. dah la hujan lebat takleh cakap lah, sampai tak nampak jalan segala.. tapi kene mempersiapkan diri supaya tak masuk jem ke batu 3 n balik semula ke puncak alam by kol 5pm dah sampai..so digagahkanla diri yang tak begitu gagah ni..actually kepenatan suda..drive ikut jalan yang sama 3x pegi balik to-from office..huhu

gambar ni amik masa berenti tunggu traffic lite hijau kat area giant 13, ttdi shah alam tu..tengah kepenatan actually..dah merayap satu hari..hoho..

managed to reach kilang back around 5.15pm.. while waiting 5.30pm to set the table, buat la bukan2 sket kat ofis tu..hehe..

untuk makanan-makanan ni, the members budgetted: 9 orang office, 18 production, 2 lorry driver..so this food actually prepared for less than that lah..

and the food prepared to be on the tables:

satay ayam 500 cucuk.. our supplier is satay banting, bertempat di puncak alam..

nasi tomato..pengiraan untuk 17 orang makan..

kawan-kawan untuk nasi tomato tu, kitorang prepare ayam masak merah di kanan (30 orang..double untuk nasi ayam tu).. n rendang daging di kiri (10 orang makan).. p.s: nepal tak makan daging (coz diorang hindu n buddha..so daging ni untuk locals..)

the dessert ialah agar-agar telur gula hangus n pandan.. dis one, mak kak sikin la jadi supplier nyer.. ada jugak tembikai merah (1 bijik lebey kurang 4 kilo) n honey dew (1 bijik lebey kurang 2 kilo)..

air ni specially made by the one n only pembantu am: sirap campur mangga sunquick.. separuh jer before letak ais.. ada jugak mihun goreng yer untuk 15 orang makan..tapi dah abes awal-awal n gambar pun tak sempat nak amek..huhu..

so kekurangan daripada dis jamuan can be summarized as:

1. nasi tomato tak luak sangat..memang nice n sedap..tapi mungkin terlalu heavy n orang suma tumpu kat sate..so next time, no more nasik untuk jamuan malam yer..

2. they like to eat goreng-goreng.. so later kene order mi atau mihun atau ketiau goreng tu lebey sket coz they eat dis first disaengkan ngan sate n ayam masak merah..huhu..

3. honey dew abes cepat, tembikai merah ada baki lagi.. lenkali, tembikai merah tu 1 bijik n honey dew 2 bijik..

4. air kene buat kurang lagi..sebab the malays jer yang minum la lebey kurang.. yang lelain minum beer la..

5. our salesman ada komitmen lain..so next time, inform diorang awal-awal so that they can arrange to come to the kilang in the evening to join the fun la..

6. kene ada back-up orang yang leh masak, jangan jadi last-minute cari orang macam dis time..seb baik acik uji leh masak after dat last-minute cancellation from the other party tu..huhu..

what make me so relief n proud is in the end, my boss thanked me for all that i've done today.. dis is indeed still an easy job la kadang-kadang untuk seorang pembantu am..huhu.. next time, dunno yet lagi..huhu..

after dis, tak sure lagi bila nak ada jamuan lagi.. maybe next year cny celebration kot..huhu..

raye wit my abang

raye time alone..wit my abang not here..so tak best!

luckily, we celebrate together sekejap jer pada pagi raye..

we're having lovers' time on pagi raye beraye n minta maaf suma.. yaa..dia jauh n i'm here, wit my family..hoho..

well, i cuti sekejap jer untuk raye ni.. 19hb is compulsory leave for my kilang.. so i cuti 1 and a half day yang applied untuk raye ni.. means i stat keje on 23hb.. i am with my admin yang office staff keje on that day..huhu..

my abang is around during dat week here in klang valley.. so we kinda boleh jumpa n spend time together sekejap, when he steal some moments from his busiest time wit his family..

so.. on the 24th (oh..hari selepas stat keje rupenyer), no wonder sonok jer pakai cantik2 dat day.. he arrived in shah alam for a short stay n supposedly to meet in the nite..means selepas balik opis.. tapi..on the way back to home, he suddenly asked to meet in the evening..

straightly menyinggah sat kat giant 13 to buy 2 gifts.. 1 for him n another for her, whom he luv so much too.. so the he-present, dapat 1 box of cadbury gold..tapi tak snap pic plak..in a rush, tak ingat suda..huhu.. {edited}: okey.. dis is one cadbury gold captured here..

oh, ada lagi.. he get an angpau from me.. as i promised earlier n he already got the mms earlier on pagi raya..

abg sangat surprise n shocked when look inside.. i am so big-hearted when he said that he is so pleased, terharu sangat n berbangga sebab dapat duit raya from me.. well~ raya is one occasion yang sangat seronok, so glad to see when people receiving duit raya from me though..hoho.. enuff said..

while the she-present, she get this:

kepala rimau~ ni polisterin-type bantal.. sgt cuddly n sgt sedap..kalau letak kepala terus tenggelam n tdo dengan lenanya..hoho..

this is actually for her birthday, which fall on 23rd september.. dis kepala rimau pun sangat la di-appreciate sesangat by the owner.. memang sonok jer sebab the owner is just like me with the bantal polisterin..angkut ke hulu ke hilir..hik hik..

oh..another thing, we meet sekejap kat pizza hut, near his stay.. maybe like 20-30min kot.. share makan a set of small hawaiian chicken pizza, i bowl of mushroom soup n cokes.. have some chit-chatting with him.. explaining dis jalan-jalan in shah alam before we separated again untuk kesekian kalinya..

apape pun, we still meet kan jugak during dis raye.. i am going to meet him again for my short holiday..kinda hunny-moon on this month jugak.. can't wait to meet him again so much.. i need some time break from my job here in my office.. n also need some time to spend privately with my abang without other people know about my holiday.. huhuhu..
